It started when Pastor Josolynn Gordon came to Ottumwa in 2008 with her husband as he was hired to work at Cargill.  He was the first Marshallese in Ottumwa.  Their first two years were a struggle, but on one Christmas Sunday in 2010, Josolynn decided to go to First Pentecostal Assembly of God. The love of Jesus was preached, and testimonies were shared, and God touched her heart.   She gave her life to Jesus and got transformed and immediately delivered from alcohol. She started going to church, fasting, and praying about her husband who later got saved.  God changed their troubles into trophies.  She was later baptized, and God started to use her mightily to people on Facebook and on the phone.  God healed people through prayers, and they started moving to Ottumwa.  Six months later, she was called to be a Pastor.  2 years later her husband became a Pastor as well. Today they both serve and help each other with the Marshallese ministry, and the community and outside where God calls them to go.  With the help of the Holy Spirit, Rema Senight, who had no reading, writing, and speaking in English, but could play piano, was able to play and sing when we minister to people.  Today there are over 200 members at the Church.
